what an eventful week.
thursday i had contractions. not painful ones but regular ones. they went on for a few hours. i was told to go into the birth center so they could check things out. i was dilated to 1cm and 50% effaced. so not ready to give birth. then they hooked me up to the fetal monitor for 20 min to check my contractions. i had contractions every 5-6 min. so i was told to rest as much as possible the rest of the weekend until i made it to monday, and 37 weeks.
now, come to find out there is this thing called prodromal labor, which is probably what i have been experiencing. it can last for weeks. but might make my actual labor quicker. things have eased up a bit... but we'll see how it goes.
oh and i found out that my cervix has moved a bit, and is in the middle. so i guess i am showing good progress for how early i still am. and i measured 39 today. yep, got me a big belly.
