so, i don't know if this is nesting or not... or maybe when you find out you're pregnant you just want to get everything in your life situated before it gets flipped upside down and backwards.
here's where i am at. we need to get rid of stuff and re-organize. we have a 2 bedroom place but we use one bedroom for an office. that will change. we have 3 sofas, that should change. we have too much crap. that needs to change. also, we are messy. not super clean. this totally bugs me, but not like it bugs my type-A friends, who end up with a clean house all the time. mine is never clean. i can't stand it. i work full time and so i don't want to clean when i get home. so i hide out in one place and don't look at the house in hopes it will clean itself or i will forget. now, i look around and think i can't live like this with a child. i won't live like this with a child. when i have been unemployed and at home during the day i keep the house clean because i have more time. that won't happen here for a while though. we need to establish some good habits now. hopefully over the next few months i can become a cleaner person. oh, and i am kind of embarrassed by it. this is definitely not how my mother raised me.
i have also been thinking that if we stay in this house, which is probably the most probable for a while. i want to paint and fix up the bathroom. well, i won't paint, i will have mike do it. but its one room that needs updating. maybe we'll do it soon. just typing this makes me want to change it now! hehe. i have been planning on how we'll decorate the baby's room. if it's a girl i have big plans and if it's a boy i have big plans. should be fun. my girl idea doesn't involve too much pink but it does involve flowers. ones that i have photographed. i'm thinking of blowing up some of my images for the artwork for the walls. wouldn't that be awesome? and mike took some rad photos of a front loader (tractor type thing) that would be sweet for a boy. who knows what we'll do but it's going to be sweet and probably not too baby-ish.
nesting? maybe.

cute ideas!! Can't wait to see how that room turns out.
Also, listen to any nesting instincts you get, I truly believe there is a reason for them.
You might get too busy, have some kind of road bump, feel too sick or something and not be able to prepare things when you were planning to.
I got a crazy urge to prepare a month before the twins were born. Glad I did because two weeks later I fell and couldn't move without help for many days. Then the kids were born.
With Joshie-boy I also got a nesting urge waaay early and well, you know.
The nesting instinct is a good one to listen for! :)
