nap time seems to become the most important time of day around here. it's productive for me when the baby sleeps. however, when she doesn't sleep things are not good. now that she's learned to stand up she likes to stand up everywhere, but she doesn't know how to go from standing to sitting or laying down without falling over. today she stood up in her crib and just held on to the rails and cried. i think she was afraid to fall so she just stood there. luckily for us i had a few errands to run so she slept in the car. amazing how happy she is now that she got her nap.
in other news she likes to try to pull the buttons off my ottoman.

This is a tricky little stage. "Just let go, little Eva!" Frustrating, but she'll get it. Her busy little self will nap yet again. :)
